Honoring the Life and Legacy of Stacy L., Panel 62 Delegate

Dear VA Al-Anon Fellowship,

We lost a truly trusted servant last week. Our Panel 62 delegate, Stacy L. died on September 11, 2024. We say goodbye but even as we mourn her passing we celebrate her life and legacy. Her years of service to Al-Anon, Alateen, the VA Area and our World Service Conference was her gift to us all. 

Stacy told us that attending the WSC in NY, NY was one of her most treasured memories and visiting Stepping Stones topped it all. She felt the “hand of Al-Anon” pass to her and through her. 

She faced her final illness as she lived her life, with courage, determination and humor. Stacy attended our ‘24 Spring Assembly in person and told jokes during her last delegate report. She loved Al-Anon, she loved service and she was so grateful and honored to serve as our delegate, she will be remembered.
