On Christmas morning, December 2024, Al-Anon lost a trusted servant and friend Don F.

Don loved the fellowship and served in many capacities over the years, including GR, District Representative, and Delegate for Panel 47.  He had a great love for Alateen and was a long time AMIAS for several meetings and attended every conference he could!  He faithfully attended Assemblies and Conventions throughout the years and was known to generously offer transportation to anyone who needed it! Complete with a meeting on wheels!  I often took advantage of that offer!

In his last weeks he was able to “entertain” many Al-Anon friends and was so grateful for the love and friendship shown to him.  He kept his “snarky” sense of humor through it all!  I know he will be leading many a “heavenly” meeting with his Al-Anon friends.  It makes me smile to think of it!
